I used these on an old dresser that look ready for the trash, they were perfect, I used modpodge and a exacto knife to cut in to the proper size and it turned out beautiful! The paper was much easier to work with that I anticipated .

How to Stencil

Stenciling on Fabric

  • Pre-wash fabric to remove sizing
  • Iron fabric smooth
  • Secure stencil with tape or spray adhesive
  • Apply paint with dabbing motion
  • Allow to dry completely
  • Heat-set with iron if required

Stenciling on Wood

  • Sand surface smooth
  • Wipe clean with tack cloth
  • Seal if necessary
  • Position stencil carefully
  • Use minimal paint on brush
  • Remove stencil while paint is wet

Stenciling on Walls

  • Clean wall surface
  • Mark placement with pencil
  • Use repositionable spray adhesive
  • Apply paint with roller or brush
  • Lift stencil straight up
  • Reposition and repeat pattern
